Harvest Sample Program & Final Quality Determination – Canadian Grain Commission

The deadline to submit samples to the Canada Grain Commission Harvest Sample Program is November 30, 2024. The Harvest Sample Program offers farmers a free tool to assess the unofficial grade and quality of their crops. By submitting grain, oilseed, or pulse samples, participants receive a detailed, unbiased analysis of key quality factors such as protein content, falling number and Vomitoxin (DON) levels.

As a reminder, if you disagree with the grade assigned to your grain by a licensed primary elevator, you can request a Final Quality Determination from the Canadian Grain Commission (CGC) within 7 calendar days of delivery.
