4R Incentives Webinar
Fertilizer Canada invites you to register at this link for our 4R Incentives Webinar, taking place on November 5th from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. EST.
This session will showcase programs that provide direct incentives to producers who work with professional experts and 4R advisors to develop a nutrient management plan for fertilizer application. These programs include:
- Agriculture & Agri-Food Canada (AAFC) – AgriInvest Program
AAFC will outline how producers with annual net sales of $1 million or more (averaged over the past three program years) can declare that they have a Nutrient Management Plan from a 4R advisor to qualify for a matching contribution under AgriInvest.
- Farm Credit Canada (FCC) – 4R Nutrient Stewardship Incentive
FCC will explain how producers can access incentive payments of up to $4,000 per year by using AgExpert Field software and working with 4R advisers, in connection with their FCC lending.
- Nutrien – Sustainable Nitrogen Outcomes Program
Nutrien will present how producers can receive at least $2 per acre by using the Agrible digital platform and 4R expert guidance to create a 4R Nutrient Management Plan aligned with the Nitrous Oxide Emission Reduction Protocol (NERP).
- PEI Federation of Agriculture’s On-Farm Climate Action Fund (OFCAF):
PEIFA will outline how farmers can receive cost-shared funding of up to 75% for implementing 4R-based nutrient management practices—such as soil testing, enhanced-efficiency fertilizers, and split applications—developed with a Certified Crop Advisor or Professional Agrologist.
The webinar is designed for producers, farm organizations, crop commodity groups, and 4R Designated and Certified retailers and advisors. We encourage you to share this invitation within your network.
