National Index on Agri-Food 2025 performance update

The Centre for Agri-Food Benchmarking has just published the National Index on Agri-Food Performance 2025 Update, providing a comprehensive overview of Canada’s sustainability performance and advancements. Alberta Grains is one of 167 partners in this coalition—spanning industry, government, and academia—committed to using science-based metrics to holistically represent the sector. We actively contributed to this update to ensure that on-farm realities are reflected in the data. By grounding sustainability in credible, collaborative evidence, the Index helps strengthen Canada’s reputation as a global leader in innovative agriculture.
