The show must go on!
With the comfort of familiarity still months away from today, the gear-up and prep for spring seeding is well underway. The chaotic challenges presented on every news outlet do not snuff out the fact that seeding must, and will, still occur. With this, a thank you is without question to all those working to maintain the agriculture industry, and of course the farmers and their families. Agronomic challenges such as unharvested crop, seeding best management practices, weed issues, fertilizer management, and season planning for the best possible crop are in heavy discussion. This newsletter looks to tackle some of these topics as we barrel towards another season.
As you fill your seeder with fertilizer and seed, complete final checks on equipment, pack your lunch, and place seeds in the ground that will one day become food for a globe that now, more than ever, needs safe and reliable food; keep your head held high. Farming families are the foundation of what matters most – food.
