Resilient Rotations

Current rotational research will ensure that prairie farmers can feed a growing world. A five-year study, made possible by the Integrated Crop Agronomy Cluster (including the Alberta Wheat Commission), will help farmers increase yields, use crop inputs more efficiently, and remain profitable all while enhancing cropping system health, resiliency and sustainability. A highly skilled team of researchers are testing realistic crop rotation options in three eco-zones of the Canadian Prairies. The rotations vary by crop and nutrient management.
