The Blue Book App goes LIVE

Alberta Canola, Alberta Grains and Alberta Pulse Growers have launched the new Blue Book mobile app, giving farmers and agronomists convenient access to Alberta's trusted Crop Protection Guide from their mobile devices. 

The app includes information on more than 700 crop protection products, advanced search and comparison tools, selector charts and offline access for use in the field. 

Key features include: 

  • Information on more than 700 registered crop protection products
  • Advanced search and filtering by crop, pest, product name or active ingredient
  • Side-by-side product comparisons
  • Herbicide, fungicide, insecticide and seed treatment selector charts
  • Direct links to product labels
  • Offline access for use in areas with limited connectivity.

The print version of the Blue Book will continue to be available. 

The app is available now through the Apple App Store and Google Play Store for an annual subscription of $20.
