The Elimination of Marked Fuel – Tell them what you think

The Government of Alberta is consulting stakeholders on a proposal to eliminate the dyed fuel system while continuing to offer the $0.09/L tax exemption for eligible agriculture producers on clear fuel (gasoline and diesel).

The consultation is open until August 31, 2025, through an online survey. Alberta Grains encourages all farmers to share their perspectives through the survey. Feedback will be reviewed and recommendations developed in the Fall of 2025.

Alberta Grain will be submitting a written submission and welcome direct feedback as well.
