OFCAF Re-Opens for Applications!

Alberta farmers can apply for the On-Farm Climate Action Fund to accelerate adoption and implementation of on-farm Beneficial Management Practices (BMPs) – like nitrogen management and cover cropping, to support production efficiency, resilience on their farm operations and improve sustainability.

Pre-approval is required, and only expenses from April 1, 2025, onward qualify. Projects must cost at least $2,500 and include a BMP action plan with a PAg or CCA.

Eligible farmers need a minimum gross farm income of $25,000.
